About Douglas County Task Force

The Douglas County Task Force on Family Violence is committed to eradicating domestic violence, sexual assault, rape, stalking, dating violence, sex trafficking, child abuse, child neglect, and child endangerment in Douglas County, Douglasville, and throughout our community. We provide help and refuge for victims of these crimes. We provide education and training for the community to help us all work together to heal our homes and neighborhoods.

The Douglas County Task Force (DCTF) is committed to eradicating Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Stalking, and Dating Violence in our Community through a complete and coordinated community response. Each month, local agency representatives and concerned citizens hold meeting to discuss and implement ways to help prevent, protect and educate the community on domestic violence, rape, stalking, sexual assault, and child abuse. We always explore new ways to help victims, to prevent new crimes, to encourage crime reporting, and to hold the perpetrators accountable. The Douglas County Task Force Offers FREE Community Services – Including Educational Seminars

The Douglas County Task Force and Child Advocacy Center offers FREE awareness education to the community, to help educate everyone on the specifics of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Child Abuse. We offer our educational seminars to multiple organizations, including Church Congregations, Youth Groups, Civic Organizations, Hospitals, Schools, and Privately-Owned Establishments. Topics can range anywhere from Domestic Violence to Rape, Sexual Assault, and Sexual Harassment. We can also offer free educational presentations to help groups and organizations understand the realness of Child Abuse in our local homes and communities. The Douglas County Task Force Offers Top-Level Victim Services that Are Always Free and Confidential

We offer FREE and confidential services to victims of domestic violence, rape, stalking, sexual assault, and child abuse. Our Services include but are not limited to assistance in obtaining Temporary Protective Orders, safety planning, support groups, hospital and court accompaniment, and a 24/7 crisis line.
