Domestic Violence is a pattern of behavior in which an intimate partner or household member uses physical violence, coercion, threats, intimidation, isolation, or emotional, sexual, or economic abuse to control another. Incidents can happen at any time to any kind of person of any gender, ethnicity, religion, age, socioeconomic situation, or any other characteristic. Domestic Violence occurs when one person causes emotional or physical harm to someone that they live with or have lived with in the past.
